Pena Station is the final commuter rail transit stop on the East Line connecting Downtown Denver’s Union Station to Denver International Airport (DIA). The vision for the 382-acre Pena Station is to create a walkable, mixed-use transit community that sets the standard for smart, sustainable, connected living. This transit community is the center of the broader “Airport City” that will serve as a vibrant center of the region between Downtown Denver and DIA. This pedestrian-friendly transit community will contain a mix of housing, work and shopping opportunities that are all located within walking distance of a major transit station.
Dig Studio worked with multiple land owners and the City of Denver to provide urban design, land planning, landscape architecture and design guidelines for this transit oriented development project.
