Margot Chalmers

Landscape Designer

Margot’s diverse background in fine arts, range and public lands management, environmental education and the National Park Service gives her a unique perspective as a landscape designer, where she is passionate about exploring the roles diverse, multi-faceted landscapes play in promoting healthy ecosystem functions and socially vibrant spaces. Her design experience encompasses work in public and private sectors, including experience with Seattle Parks and Recreation and a Danish landscape architecture and urban design firm. She draws inspiration from Scandinavian design principles in utilizing narrative-driven, layered design and green infrastructure to create and support vibrant and resilient communities, ecologies and economies.
